Our Meetings

“What then, brothers? Whenever you come together, each one has a psalm,
has a teaching,
has a revelation,
has a tongue,
has an interpretation. Let all things be done for building up.”

(1 Corinthians 14:26)
“Out from whom all the body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and through the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the body unto the building up of itself
in love.”

(Ephesians 4:16)

Since meetings play a very important role in our church life, we have different types of meetings throughout the week. To us, church meetings are not a drudgery but an enjoyment. In the meetings, we are often supplied, strengthened, encouraged, enlightened, inspired, equipped, and even commissioned by the Lord. We can testify that in the meetings, the resurrected Christ is with us as we are gathered into His name.

Meeting Hall

We believe that in the proper Christian life, there should be a balance between the personal life and the meeting life. The personal time with the Lord cannot replace the meetings, and the meetings cannot replace the personal time. We delight to spend time with Him individually, and we enjoy meeting with Him corporately.

In the church life, we also treasure the function of every member. Although we do not all have the same function, we all have a function, and the function of every member is needed to build up the church. We reject any clergy-laity system as a frustration to the organic function of the members of the body of Christ. We have no clergy and no laity; rather, we are living members of the body, and we encourage everyone to function according to their God-given measure.
